Eight rules. No exceptions.
This is the whole rulebook. If a number appears anywhere on this site, one of these rules produced it.
- 01One clock for everybody
Cycles are 10 minutes long and derived from epoch time, so every visitor sees the same countdown to the same second. No server pushes it, no admin resets it.
- 02Two buttons, one ballot
Ape or Throw. One wallet, one ballot per case. The ballot is an ed25519 signature over a message naming the case, the verdict and the cycle — the server rejects anything it cannot verify.
- 03Weight is read from the chain, not typed in
At the instant you sign, the server calls the Solana RPC for your balance. Weight is the square root of your holdings so a whale with 100× your stack does not get 100× your voice.
- 04Votes lock before the gavel
The last 60 seconds of every cycle are sealed. Nobody can snipe a tally after seeing where it landed.
- 05The gavel is automatic
When the cycle ends, whichever side carries more weight wins. Inside 8% it is recorded as a Split Verdict, and nobody's reputation moves.
- 06The market grades the bench
Token cases lock their live price at gavel time. 1 hour later the price is read again. Judges who ruled with the market gain rank points; judges who ruled against it lose them.
- 07Contempt is real
Three filings the bench throws out puts you in contempt for 30 minutes: filing is blocked and your vote weight is cut to 40%.
- 08Nothing is seeded
The docket, the archive, the bench and the cages all start empty and only ever contain records produced by real wallets. There are no demo rows to delete later.
Until a mint exists, weight comes from your real SOL balance alone. The moment GORILLAW_TOKEN_MINT is set, GORILLAW holdings start counting — no code change needed.
